“It'd been the best and magical moments of my life in GYLS!!! I've met a great deal of amazing people here. We've learnt so much from the speakers, the coaches, the team leaders, the youth leaders, the alumni, and our very own peers. It opens up my heart to step up and out of my comfort zone, and to encourage myself as well as others to help make this world a better place. I've learn that leadership is a habit, and then I've learned to slow down and look: where am i heading to? Who am I? What am I borne to do? Of course, I've became more confident and outstanding compared to my old self. I've gained life-long friendships here too. This summit has motivated me to achieve and contribute more, and I'm so glad to be in the GYLS team."

“For me the camp was the most amazing experience of my life... The speakers, coaches, leaders and everyone there were so supportive and i learned so much and had heaps of fun =) I learned lots and lots of skills, and I'm going to use those in school, to do better and in my sports teams, and really just step up as a leader in every opportunity I get!”

“I had an outstanding time at GYLS….I now have a lot more resources to make me better as a person and how to deal with some struggles that everybody runs into in day-to-day life. GYLS has inspired me to start writing a book about my life story and in 2 weeks I’m going to Katimavik, a program where you travel around the world for 6 months helping developing communities build homes, cooking food and lots of other amazing things. GYLS has also helped me discover my purpose in life is to give the gift that I have been given and to become a life coach. I am so grateful to have been able to attend this program and would love to attend again next summe to be alumni…Thanks! :)"

"...What I liked was the opportunity I had to talk and share with young leaders from all around the world. Though we came from diverse backgrounds, we were all the same. We address different challenges in our lives, but all of us could share a laugh and ride a roller coaster together. At the Summit, I learned that friendship and shared passion can transcend culture and even language. I have made incredible connections with people incredibly different yet similar to myself in so many ways at the Summit. I also learnt a lot of new things on how to help the planet and contribute back to society and I learnt that youths can make significant changes to the world……"
